A new metal molded hood and left/right access doors simplify service and maintenance. The bolted, replaceable drawbar draft ball allows wear-shim removal and adjustment with less service time and cost. The tandem axle uses an external-disc service brake, wheel-loader-compatible friction plates, grease-free rear-axle/tandem lubrication and an adjustment-free chain design to extend maintenance intervals.
The disc service brake uses dual circuits, separately supporting front/rear and left/right braking. The dashboard includes a three-level alarm-monitoring system. A three-point-contact handrail supports safer access, inspection and maintenance.
